B E E D L E

beedle is own of my favorite npcs in the zelda games! although he appears in a few different games, i will be focusing on his appearances in breath of the wild & tears of the kingdom.

beedle is a travelling salesman that can be found walking to and from the various stables around hyrule. he always has a supply of arrows & often stocks other quest related items. you can also sell to him if you're in need of some quick cash!

beedle has a love of all bugs, but especially beetles! in fact, he carries around a backpack shaped like a beetle. however, his favorite beetle is the energetic rhino beetle.

if you try to buy from beedle with a beetle in your inventory, he will be extremely excited, and beg you to trade something for it.

however, if you refuse to sell your energetic rhino beetle to beedle, beedle will grow increasingly desperate, and if you walk away with the beetle he will mutter about hiring someone to take it from you.

beedle is the only character aside from the zelda, link, and ganon to appear across multiple zelda games & timelines.

is he simply the latest beedle in a long line of family beedles? a fellow reincarnated soul content to spend his days selling arrows and looking for bugs?

we may never know!
